Holiday minis are offered on select Saturdays in the fall. You’ll have 30 minutes in my Taylors, SC home studio to capture a bit of magic. Each session includes 7 digital files that you’ll choose from a proof gallery after the session. You’ll also have the option of purchasing a custom designed Christmas Card! This family chose to dress in festive buffalo plaid. Isn’t it fun? If you’d like, I can help you plan your wardrobe to match your personal style as a family. This service is included in your session fee.
We’ll take images of the whole family standing and sitting. There’s nothing I won’t do to make your session easy on you and the kids. In fact, I send you information on how to best prepare your children for a successful session. During the session, you’re guaranteed to share a hysterical laugh at me making elephant and rooster noises to get your youngest kiddos to look at me.
And as I tell my families, it’s also important to get mom and dad in some images alone. After all, how many times after our wedding pictures do you two get to be featuring in images as a couple?! That’s sad, since surely your love has grown richer!
Next, we’ll aim for capturing that perfect and elusive sibling image in your holiday mini session.
Last, but not least, I’ll do individual images of your children so that you’ll be able to see their growth each year.

2021Somtimes I get to celebrate a special baby with Micro Preemie Miracle Baby Photography Greer SC. Meet Olivia! This precious girl weighed just over 1 pound at birth and is proof that sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. I mean look at the effuse joy this little girl has? Olivia is sheer delight. 
Olivia came in for a Milestone Mini session. This session type is a great for budget a budget friendly option to capture just a few images of your baby. At around 30 minutes in the studio it’s also quick and perfect for keeping your baby’s attention in between feedings and naps. Olivia was turning one just a few weeks after this session and so these images will help commemerate that milestone perfectly. 
Of course, I couldn’t resist taking a few detail images. I live for documenting the sweet beauty of your baby right now as they are. This little hand and feet image took my breath away. The ephemeral arm and leg roles, those delicious finger dimples, and those tiny toes cupped in a Olivia’s hands are precious memories of a time much too brief. 
Like all one year olds, Olivia displayed a huge range of emotions. I personally love the look of surprise! I think I was making elephant noises behind my mask (in the season of Covid-19). Unlike most one year olds, Oliva never once cried. She loved all the attention and her pretty dresses!

2021I was excited to see Marley again for six month Timeless Studio Baby Photography Greenville SC! If you’d like to see his newborn session, click here. Marley is a NICU graduate and his newborn photos turned out so cute. I can’t believe how much he’s grown up though!
The best part about six month sessions is the variety of facial expressions. Also, from a photographer stand point: they still stay in one place long enough to capture all of those sweeet faces! From pouty, to amazing Black boy joy, to pensive, Marley shared all of his personality! Plus this sweet outfit that his mama brought is sheer perfection. 
I loved this image set with Marley’s Mama Ericka most of all. So often we mamas are ashamed of how motherhood has changed our bodies and reluctant to get into the picture. But our babies just see the mama who loves them more than anything. And honestly, the think we’re the most beautiful creature that they’ve ever laid eyes on. Our love for our sweet babies makes us more beautiful.
Shortly after this last image with Ericka, Marley had an epic spit up incident. These things happen! However, because I have a studio wardrobe for babies, we quickly cleaned up Marley and put him in a new outfit. You can see my studio wardrobe for babies by clicking here. I love providing this perk to clients, not only does it save you money if you choose to use the wardrobe exclusively, but it also helps in the case of accidents like this!
To make sure his tummy was settled we moved onto some floor images. I so enjoy seeing babies grabbing their feet and capturing all these sweet details! Little toes are pretty much the sweetest thing ever, am I right?
Six month olds are still mastering the skill of sitting up so at the end of the session, I offered Marley some respite from all the exercise by placing him in this little bed. I think these images captured the most of his personality!

2020Looking for some Timeless Studio Family Photography Greenville SC for your Christmas Cards? Every winter I offer Seasonal Simply Family Mini Sessions on a couple of Saturdays in November and December. These are a great way for you to get a few images for your Christmas Card in a fun low stress situation. When you book a Simply Family Mini, I send you a series of emails to help you prepare for your session. Of course there is advise on picking out what to wear, but there’s also a key email that I think a lot of photographers forget. It’s an email on preparing your kids for the session. Children need to know my name, what the studio is like, what’s expected of them, and more importantly how you’re going to praise them for that behavior. 
This family has been coming to the studio since their oldest girl Zoey was released from the NICU six years ago. You can see that session by clicking here. They did an excellent job preparing these small children for this experience. They’re all under five in these images! And it’s really a testament to how well Lydia and Micheal prepared their kiddos. 
So what is a Simply Family Mini like? It’s a 30 minute session that includes 5 images that you choose. From the moment your kiddos arrive to the moment they leave, I am focused completely on your kiddos. Often, I even forget to address the parents except for asking their children to help me tell mom and dad what to do. I try to keep these sessions short and sweet just like your little one’s attention spans. What is my biggest complaint about Simply Family Minis? “How can I pick just five images?” Don’t worry, you can purchase additional images if you want!

2020I have been Isabella’s Greenville SC Studio Child Photographer since she was born. Her mama Brenda had me snort laughing from our very first meeting. Brenda has always wanted to remember every detail from her miracle baby. From her tiny toes to her waterfall ponytail to her silly laugh and beyond. I have been honored to be a part of their journey. 
Izzy and Brenda have had a rough year. It’s been full of pain and hope all intermingled with joy at being together. I love how these photos represent their solid bond. 
You get to see them laugh and play and dance and share their joy with the world in such a beautiful way. Brenda gets to see how they adore one another and how much her daughter just glows under her gentle care. They are a pair and together they can face whatever difficulties the world will throw at them. And they do so while bringing their light to the world. 
I can’t tell you how thankful I am to know these strong women. I am so inspired by their story of overcoming and their hope for the future. It’s not often that I get to do a session with older children, but it’s so special to have older children in the studio where we can capture relationship without the distraction of scenery.
