2020I adored working with Emily on her Romantic Airy Maternity Photography Greenville SC. Emily had both vision and amazing enthusiasm for this session. I can tell you how much fun it was to work with someone so excited.
Emily and Byron have wanted a little one for a long time. But the process hasn’t been easy. After years, they gave it one more shot. Wynter Rose is already so loved that you can feel it in these images.
In the midst of pregnancy joy, Emily and Byron have been dealing with moving and an extended house remodel. So Emily rightfully splurged on hair and make up with the lovely Cotton Rouge who came to my studio ready to pamper Emily. I love watching the makeup artists work their magic. Emily delighted in being spoiled.
Emily brought a few dresses from Pink Blush, but also borrowed this one from my mama wardrobe. I love providing a wardrobe for my clients so they don’t have to purchase something new unless they want to. You can view my mama wardrobe items by clicking here.
I think these two are my favorite Romantic Airy Maternity Photography Greenville SC from this session. I love how Emily is looking at Byron with so much respect and love. And I love how both of them are looking at Wynter Rose with so much joyful anticipation. I cannot wait to see them hold her in just a few weeks!

2019I so prefer Simple Timeless One Year Cake Smash Photography Greenville SC because I want your baby to be the star of the session. Cute sets and themes are fun, but I’d rather showcase the natural beauty of your child. I want to focus on the faces, the emotions, and the experience of eating cake and playing in a bath. I want you to look at the images and immediately feel how you felt with your baby was one years old.
That’s why I adored everything about Stella’s cake smash with her big sister Lucy and mama Patty. Watch this short video to see all of the images from this session. Then, scroll down to see my very favorite images.
Stella is Patty’s self titled “wild child.” Stella approaches life with a sense of adventure and lacks an accurate danger sensor. She climbs things. Stella gets into mischief. She keeps up with big sister Lucy just fine, thank you very much!
For that reason, I feel like the above image is everything Patty loves about Stella. Christine at Baking Sweet Scents bakes my cakes with prayers and love; a simple cake is included in your session. This beautiful semi-naked blush cake compliments the simple and timeless feel of Patty’s wishes and wardrobe choices for Stella.
However, Stella’s personality shined during the whole session. Do you see her adventurous spirit in this fun sampling!
I also really loved including big sister Lucy in the session. Sometimes we get so caught up in our youngest that we forget that their sibling is part of the joy too. Patty wanted to capture both girls and I love the results. Don’t worry, Lucy got to eat the left over cake, too!

2019I was so excited to do Boho Princess Cake Smash Photography Greenville SC for Kylie. You see Kylie is a Quiet Graces baby. I did her newborn session, too! You can see her full newborn session by clicking here. However, here’s a quick peek of her Greenville SC Newborn Photos.
I never get over how quickly babies grow up right before our eyes. Look at how much Kylie has grown! And we did her cake smash session at 10 months as her family had just become world traveling digital nomads. 10 months was when they were in town for a family event. And Kylie was already walking! Slow down, sweet girl!
This face here totally cracks me up. Since she was walking, Kylie wanted to stand up immediately and just get moving. But it’s like she’s horrified that we wanted her to stay in just one place. So I proceeded to entertain her with a box and silly faces to keep her still for a few split seconds.
Finally, we changed into Kylie’s cake smash outfit that her mama had made just for her. And proceeded to the main event. Cake!!!!
Clearly, Kylie loved every last bite.
I loved the boho princess theme that Kylie’s mama chose for this session. It’s delightfully girly without being overdone. Since Kylie’s family is traveling, this outfit was donated to the studio wardrobe and this exact set is always available for use in the studio.
We finished the session with a sweet flower and milk bath which Kylie adored. I started including these to do cake clean up and get a few extra images, but they have quickly become my very favorite part of a cake smash session. We capture all of the genuine emotions from joy to tears in a bath.

2019Nothing brings me greater joy than being a Natural Emotive Greenville SC Newborn Photographer. But I’m often asked: “What if my baby cries the whole session or won’t fall asleep?”
This sweet girl, Mariana, had a really difficult session. You probably wouldn’t believe it with this gorgeous smile, but Mariana was diagnosed with severe reflux and put on an elemental formula just a few days after our session. Her digestion hurt and she wasn’t very happy for most of the session.
But I rocked and I soothed. I wrapped her up tight. I found the incline that felt most comfortable for Mariana. And in this intricate dance of making another human feel most comfortable, we made art.
We captured her beautiful features and soothed her aching body. Sometimes I reschedule if your baby is having a rough day, but often I’ll comfort and dance and capture moments in between the discomfort. It’s always worth it to conform to your little one’s needs of the moment.
I’m sharing this to soothe your fears. I want you to have the most amazing art that celebrates who your baby is and their inherent beauty. But I also want to respect the tiny person that is your most important treasure above all else. Their comfort matters to me. Their safety matters to me.
I rarely use this pose below. It’s called “the potato sack,” but for Mariana it was one of the most comfortable positions for her aching belly. Being vertical kept the reflux down. And even in these images, my hand is just out of the frame to comfort her if needed.
These brief smiles made every rocking and soothing motion worth it.

2019One of my favorite things is to meet my newborn families for Creamy White Backdrop Simpsonville SC Studio Maternity Photography. The maternity session fee is waived for newborn clients so that I can get a chance to know you before your session. I especially love this option with my families with big siblings.
Meet Sloan and her mama Whitney and daddy Josh.
Whitney did an amazing job prepping Sloan for this session! Sloan was a two year old Angel. We were able to play and laugh and fun faces and capture so many images of Sloan alone and with her family. Sloan knew my name, had practiced her silly faces, and knew what was expected of her and it shows. I send prep instructions for big siblings to all my families for this reason.
This shocked face cracks me up! Part joy and part surprise, for me it encapsulates what will happen when baby Abel is born.
During a maternity session, we play with light to create variety. This high key light on my cream drop was new for this session and I love it. It’s such a perfect way to showcase the love of this family. The joy from Josh tickling Sloan in this image is tangible.
But my favorite set from this session is when Whitney changed into this pink lace gown from my studio wardrobe and we back lit this series. Looking at this following series feels like drinking hot chocolate by a fire on a cold evening. So much cozy welcoming joy.
Whitney and Josh, I can’t wait to meet baby Abel soon. Thank you for sharing your love with me.
