2018Devon contacted me for Girly Timeless Posed Newborn Photography Greenville SC after doing a lifestyle session in her home with another photographer. She loved her images, but she just wanted some extra girly photos to celebrate her first girl after two boys.
She was so afraid that Grace Anne would be too old, but I never turn away newborns based on age. I was able to squeeze her in the first Monday after she contacted me and I am so glad I did!
First, Grace Anne is a true beauty. Her hair, her pouty lips, her delicate hands, and her sweet profile are just pure perfection.
Second, Devon is the most down to earth mama. We had so many laughs over both of our dare devil middle childreb. We chatted about birth experiences in America and the differences between your first baby and your third.
Did I mention that Devon is stunning too? She specifically requested super feminine mama and baby portraits. I was so excited about this request!
I love that she selected this back lighting technique called dream lighting in her client questionnaire. It’s so well named because it creates these sweet dreamy portraits.
But we also captured some more natural pictures on the studio couch.
I love that Grace Anne smiled at her mama here. The love between these two is precious. Gracie wants her mama to hold her most.
Devon, I hope you’re treasuring the magic we were able to create with your vision and dreams.
But more than that, I hope Grace Anne will be able to see how much she was loved from the very beginning.

2018I was so honored to be chosen for Michael’s detail focused newborn photography Greer SC.
Isn’t he the sweetest? We waited for this smile as Michael drifted into REM sleep for what seems like forever. I think I must have taken 20 frames of half smiles before he gave us this big grin. It was worth the wait. Smiles are always worth the wait.
His amazing sister Amelya is six and she totally stole the session. She has all the skills to be a big time model: hand placement, body awareness, giggles, and a fantastic attitude.
Plus she adored her baby brother too. Just look at them together.
Micheal even gave a tiny little grin while she cuddled him! I have a feeling these two are going to get into all kinds of mischief very soon. Be careful, mama. 😉
Erica and Micheal were a joy to serve. Amelya is a heart baby miracle, so she spent her first weeks in the NICU. In some ways, Erica felt like a first time mama and it was nice to be able to hear her verbalize some of her anxieties.
Erica is an amazing mama; gentle, kind, and fierce like all the best mamas. I love this image she selected to remember this time.
And let’s not leave out Michael. He was so protective of his newborn son.
My favorite image from this session is this close up of his face in this bonnet. I love the way it highlights his round cheeks, rosebud lips, and how you can see his perfect fingers. I can’t decide whether I like color or black and white best so I’m sharing both!
But there were so many other good ones from this session, too! Here’s a small sampling of favorites.
Are you thinking about booking a photographer to capture all the details of your brand new little one? I’d love to be considered. Drop me a line by clicking here and let me know about your dream session.

2018Almost three years ago I had the sheer joy of being the Studio Greenville SC Newborn Photographer for Henry and Evelyn.
We’re they the sweetest? You can see their whole session here. Now look at them!
Henry and Evelyn came back to share their new baby sister Elizabeth with me.
Isn’t she the sweetest?
But even sweeter still are the ways her brother and sister loved on Elizabeth unique to their own personalities. Evelyn is a gentle soul who just adored kissing and cuddling Elizabeth. Henry is a bit more of a wild child. He’s for sure going to be the one cracking jokes and sending his sisters into hysterics sometime soon.
And together, this sibling trio is going to keep mama and daddy busy and laughing for many years to come.
One of my favorite moments of this session was when Evelyn and daddy shared this moment. Evelyn was just fascinated with her delicate new sister.
Elizabeth was a wee bit feisty during her session. She wanted to be held and rocked and wrapped. I love a challenge like that. What’s better than baby snuggles?!
After awhile she dozed off and we were able to get the images that mama Anna had been dreaming off.
I love this little bed set up so much. The rustic feel and her little arms by her face do me in every time.
After this last pose on my posing table, I moved her to this little bowl.
She was beginning to stir a bit after this prop, but I risked moving her to another prop for one last set. And she let me get exactly one image to finish things off.
Are you looking to capture your growing family in images? I would love to have you in the studio. Contact me today to find out about booking your own session.

2018I loved being Eliana’s Greer SC Simple Beautiful Newborn Baby Girl Photographer.
Eliana has the sweetest little mouth, full head of luscious hair, and dainty fingers and toes.
This little one was so good natured. Not much fussing at all. Like all babies she liked the heat of the studio and drifted off to sleep after a full tummy.
Eliana also really liked being swaddled. A tight swaddle helps newborns feel more like they are back in the womb. The familiar cramped space comforts newborns so much that I often find myself giving swaddling lessons to new parents before they leave the studio!
Plus it gives me a way to focus on those sweet toes!
Eliana also has the most amazing big sister Ava. I didn’t pose this image. Ava had to kiss her tiny baby sister every time she could! And look at Eliana’s smile!
The extra bonus of the swaddle is that Eliana is super protected from the jostling of a two year old loving her roughly and joyously.
Ofcourse, we took some of Ava alone. Isn’t she darling? She was curious and silly and sugar and spice: everything a two year old should be!
I mentioned the spice already, right? This image cracked me and mommy up! It’s so fantastic!
But we did get this smiling family photo too. Mama had spent a lot of time reading over and implementing my tips for Preparing Big Siblings for Photo Sessions and Ava was able to shine!
While Ava played with my Little People Zoo, we grabbed images of just mommy and daddy and their new little love.
I love how this oval wood print turned out in this sweet romper we have at the studio.
Are you thinking about booking your own newborn session? Sessions book quickly and I recommend booking in your second trimester. Contact me today to discuss your dream session.

2018Meet Reagan and her baby sister Catherine who came to me for Classic Newborn with Big Sister Portraits Greenville SC. Reagan was totally in love with Catherine.
Reagan was a joy in the studio. Talkative and obedient, she has a ready laugh and a sweet spirit.
But she kept asking me “Am I the first to….?”
Yes she was the first to warm your mama’s arms. To teach her unconditional love and make her laugh so hard.
And now she is the first to call Catherine her little sister. Reagan has so much to teach Catherine. How to giggle. How to give the best cheese faces. How to talk to anyone about anything. How to love learning and snuggles.
Reagan is pretty amazing and being a big sister suits her.
And yet, Reagan is every bit a little girl of five with a lust for life. I wish I could paint a better picture of this sweet soul with words, but you’d just have to meet her.
And then there was Catherine. Amazing chubby cheeks and arm rolls and general delicious newborn goodness.
But don’t worry, Cathering has enough personality of her own to be a pretty spunky little sister. Just look at these faces!
So much drama!
And so much sweetness all bundled up into the little package that is Catherine. I honestly wanted to keep her and smooch those delicious cheeks.
Just a little bit of heaven come down for me to hold for just a brief moment. But she’ll be Reagan’s gift forever: a best friend for life.
I’m so glad that they will have each other right from the start. Sisters make life so much more joyful.
