2018Meet Noel Juhl who came for some Christmas Themed Newborn Photos Greenville SC. Mama Jessica requested a fun Christmas twist based on her name and I was happy to oblige.
We used some Christmas plaid, a few cookies, and some Noel signs from Hobby Lobby to create a little set. I pulled out a mini Christmas tree too. I love how it turned out! Subtle and playful.
But most of our session focused on the timeless and organic style that I’m known for. Sweet babies, posed simply with simple adornment.
Noel was an extremely curious little girl. She wanted to watch what I was doing.
This was amazing for so many open eye shots with great eye contact which is super rare in newborn photography.
I loved these images with mommy as Noel drifted off into a light sleep.
I spent some super sweet time soothing and rocking this angel. And a lot of time giggling when she popped her eyes back open right after I took a shot to make sure I wasn’t doing anything new.
This yawn was during that time as well as this sweet smile.
And this nest shot was a blink.
After about half an hour of this peek-a-boo game, Noel finally drifted off into complete sleep. I worked fast so we’d have a good bit of posing variety in case Noel got curious again.
I love Noel’s back wrinkles. And her little ankles stacked so daintily.
Jessica requested this pose and it’s one of my most requested. I call it back wrinkles.
This smile made all of that work totally worth it!
We finished the session with a quick nursing and a backdrop change for this last shot.
And I got close for these sweet detail of Noel’s healing belly button because Jessica told me that she loved how it looked like a cinnamon roll.
I love capturing special details like this. What details would you want captured of your sweet little one? Contact me today and let me know what you never want to forget.

2018I was so honored to be chosen as sweet Aubree’s Dreamy Creamy Newborn Girl Photographer Greer SC.
Aubree Noelle from Melissa Aldrich on Vimeo.
Aubree was the sweetest tiny little bundle, but her amazing big brother Brayden stole the show at the beginning of our session.
He just wanted to love and kiss and snuggle his sister. Truly it was the best beginning sibling relationship I have ever witnessed. So sweet!
Brayden was a charmer too. I snapped these two above while “testing my camera” before wrapping his sister up.
Brayden’s tiny hands holding and protecting his sister made me swoon.
Most amazing of all, Aubree smiled so much when her brother was holding on her and loving her. It was the most precious thing.
Brayden played a bit in my kids corner while I captured some images with mom and dad.
I love how babies look so very small in daddy’s hands.
But look at this sweet baby smiling for all of these images with mama too!
I have never had an open eye smile for a family picture. Aubree spoiled us with this unicorn of family images. I still can’t believe it!
And after the excitement of family images, we moved onto solo images. Aubree was a delight here too starting with this eye contact.
Eye contact is rare for newborns who are still learning all the complicated eye movements of tracking and focusing. Many times parents request open eye shots, but babies aren’t always looking at the camera. More often than not babies either look up or look “through” the camera.
These two images are my favorites from this session. The sweet smile stole the show again! But the innocent way that babies sleep with their hands over their heads…. perfection.
Finally we finished with this simple nest set.

2018I couldn’t wait to meet this sweet girls for her Stunning Minimalist Newborn Photos Greenville SC . Josh and Morgan had come in for a maternity session and even then their love for Ellis and each other was apparent.
But their love for Ellis…. I can’t tell you how much they simply adore their angel.
I love how small and beautiful she looks in her father’s arms.
Morgan couldn’t stop commenting on how much Ellis’s hair is changing. Or how much she resembles daddy.
So much love! Ellis was rocked and ooh and awed over and so sweetly loved. Grandma came along for the session and I’m such a sucker for moms. I want all their children to have images to remember them with: to freeze time with how the love their children so completely. Grandma let me take this image of her love for sweet Ellis even though she didn’t want to be in front of the lens.
Can we just take a minute to celebrate the beauty of this sweet girl. From all of her tiny details (that millia on her nose… swoon)…
… to her sweet cheeks and perfect posing. Ellis is simply gorgeous.
I can’t resist a sleeping baby with their arms over their heads. And this messy hair as I peeled off her headband makes me grin.
But these nest images just capture her so perfectly. A baby who is hope of a beautiful future. Plus that sweet little smile just captures her easy going nature so perfectly.

2018There’s something beautiful about a client who requests Simple Understated Timeless Newborn Photos in Greenville SC.
Babies are beautiful without all the adornment and I love capturing all their natural beauty.
Ray is no exception to this natural beauty. His sweet smiles were ready and willing.
And his beautiful profile stole my heart. There’s something captivating about light shining the sweet features of a newborn. It’s spellbinding magic of the best kind.
Since he was born on July 4th, we incorporated a patriotic theme with a scarf that his mama Lauren brought. I love how it gave just a subtle nod to his birth date.
Ray has the sweetest older sister in Lillian. Isn’t she darling?
Lillian was so looking forward to holding and loving on him and then getting a little time with her grandma. She did such a great job.
And since grandma was in the studio, I roped her in for a few family images. There are so few images taken of our mothers as we leave our childhood and I wanted Lauren to have that gift with her mother as well as for Lillian and Ray.
We took images of the immediate family as well and I loved that Ray shared a sweet smile with daddy.
And I love how sweet Ray looked in his mama’s arms cuddled in tight.
But the sweetness of these newly formed relationships of this brand new family of four… well, it’s the reason I photograph newborns. There’s just so much joy.
What do you want to remember most about your sweet newborn? I’d love to help you record it; not just for you, but for your little one to cherish as they grow up.

2018I loved doing Kylie’s Delicate Timeless Newborn Girl Photos Greenville SC! Rebecca’s requests for a feminine, connection-focused session made my soul sing.
Rebecca said that all the nurses kept commenting on Kylie’s full head of gorgeous blond hair. It’s relatively rare and I hadn’t seen such hair since my own babies were born almost 7 years ago. Her sweet hair brought back all of my newborn memories.
Add on those beautiful chubby cheeks, and I’m pretty sure the Kylie is pure perfection. What’s not to love?
Kylie is the first girl in this amazing blended family.
She’s for sure going to be spoiled by her big brothers.
This full smile in Korin’s hands melted my heart. And then Seth’s sweet protective hold and Shamyn (who was delightfully impishly complaining about not being the “baby” anymore) even got a little smile.
But this sweet dream lit mama and daddy set really captures the devotion in this family for sweet Kylie.
Oh and all these precious details that you can feel love radiating from. Kylie is so loved.
Rebecca, thank you so much for choosing me to create these precious memories for your family.
