2021I’ve photographed all of Jenn and Abel’s sweet babies as newborns and at one year so I was just excited to do Classic Southern Studio Portraits Greenville, SC for Baby Theo’s first year! You can see Theo’s precious newborn photos and his whole family by clicking here. Right now Theo is the perfect Gerber baby. He’s precocious as tries to swipe my camera, but his perfect pink cheeks and sweet curls stand out in both color and black and white. Look at him!
For reference, here is Theo at his newborn session where I scarcely saw his eyes. He was just a tiny little guy who wanted nothing more than to nap. I’m always so shocked by how fast babies grow. Unlike parents, I don’t get to see the incremental changes. I typically see your baby at 1 week old where all they do is sleep. Then again at 6 months where they’re happy and aware of everything, but easily amused. And then again for either a milestone session (like this one) or a cake smash at one year. One year olds are total wild cards. They have good attachments to their parents and that makes them a bit cautious around me. They’re hyper aware of being in a new environment too, but they have so much personality!
I tell all my one year old clients that your baby is going to be shy, they’re going to cry, they’re going to crawl or walk out of the frame! Bring your yoga pants for the images you’re not in as you’ll chasing your little one all over! Mom always leaves the studio feeling a little worried that I didn’t get any good shots in all of the commotion. News flash, Theo did all these things and devoured about 5 snacks and a bottle too as he came all the way down from Asheville! If his session turned out this well, I promise you don’t need to be worried about your active baby. Looking to book your own Classic Southern Studio Portraits Greenville SC? 2021Are you looking for a photographer skilled in Large Family Newborn Pictures Greenville SC? I love the big siblings almost as much as the babies! There’s something marvelous about playing with a 2 year old and then waiting for them to take interest in family photos. And talking to a 4-8 year old is a blast! They have such unique perspectives on the world and love the one on one attention.Big families are a joy and deserve to have their newborn milestones recorded too! Brooke and Carly were no exception. These two were a sheer delight and absolutely adored their new baby sister. I also captured both Brooke and Carly alone for their separate portraits. It helps big siblings to feel valued when I start with their pictures, but you also deserve quality images of your big kids! After I do individual portraits and portraits with the baby, I add in mom and dad for family portraits. When I’ve finished with the big siblings, I recommend that dad or grandma take them from the studio for a special date. This gives big siblings a reward for excellent behavior and a smaller window to focus on behaving in a new space. Additionally, mom gets a moment to decompress while I care for and pose the newborn baby. Mama Ali requested that I use this baby quilt, an heirloom from her family. I loved using it in the sibling image and also in this little bed with baby Carly! This black and white image of Carly in her mama and grandma’s hands was also a special request. I adore it! 2021Are you looking for Studio Newborn Girl Photography with Family Greer SC that is classic and simple? At Quiet Graces Photography, I strive to capture the simple beauty of your little one using sets and colors that you’re able to hand pick. After the session, you select your favorite images to be included in your digital collection. You’ll receive your digital images in both color and black and white. My biggest goal is for you to have the images you’ve dreamed while supporting you in the postpartum period and honoring your baby’s posing preferences. If this sounds like the experience you’re looking for, click here. If you’d like to learn more about working with me, click here! If you’d like to see a bit more of a session or read about Emilia’s session keep scrolling down! Emilia’s mama Savanna preferred dark tones. She chose olive and mauve as the muted colors to focus on. Savannah requested posing that was more natural in style to allow her baby to stretch out. Emilia preferred being wrapped, but we still managed some sweet images without a wrap as well. And finally Savannah had a special request to showcase Emilia in with her wedding dress. I encouraged Savannah to use her veil instead so that we could minimize the chance of accidents. I love the effect of a finely decorated lace veil with a sweet baby girl. Family images are always some of my favorites. Often moms are hesitant to have photos taken after birth with so many recent body changes. However, I always do a little bit of Photoshop work to slim the areas that have experienced the most change and will not look the same in a couple of months. Frequently, mama’s thank me for firmly requesting that they be in a few images. Sometimes they’re even mama’s favorite images.

2021Are you looking to book a Funfetti Polka Dot Cake Smash Photographer Simpsonville SC? I’d love to be considered for your own cake smash needs. Your session includes a simple set, a semi-naked cake, and an hour of studio time. Click here to tell me about your dream cake smash session. Read on to find out more about Wynter’s Cake Smash. The last time I saw Emily she was expecting Wynter Rose. Click here to see her maternity session. The early Covid-19 quarantine season meant we weren’t comfortable doing a newborn session with all of the unknowns during that time but I was delighted to finally meet Wynter for this cake smash. Emily had dreamt of the session during her long season of waiting for a little one. For her, it was the ultimate representation of the joy of a miracle child she wasn’t sure she’d ever hold. Emily chose a funfetti, sprinkles, and polka dot theme and I loved it on the cream paper and floor!
Wynter was a little overwhelmed in the new environment of the studio. Often one year olds experience this kind of stranger danger at the start of the session. This sweet little crying image broke my heart, but as you can see with lots of mommy and daddy cuddles plus some Bonanza and Mickey Mouse Club songs helped Wynter be comfortable in the studio.
Christine of Baking Sweet Scents made this perfect semi-naked pastel sprinkle coated cake. One of Chiristine’s semi-naked cakes is included in each cake smash session. Clearly Wynter loved her cake so much! I’m pretty sure she may have loved the box even more as we cleaned up!
Seriously, aren’t her little faces just too much! I can’t even pick a favorite one! Finally, we finished our Funfetti Polka Dot Cake Smash Photographer Simpsonville SC with a bubble bath in the tub. It’s such a fun way to end each session!

2021Is finding Classic Minimalist Newborn Baby Photography Greer SC proving to be difficult? Are you not a fan of the over the top sets and props and just want a session focused on your baby’s natural beauty without all the fuss? This is exactly the experience I strive to give my clients. While I do poses and use props, I try to keep the colors muted and showcase your baby just as they are. I also think it’s really important to respect your baby as a person during the session. Every person has positions that are comfortable and newborns are no different! Read along below to learn more about Ava’s session as an “older” month plus old newborn or click here if you’re interested in setting up your own session. Ava was an “older” newborn which many photographers will refuse and recommend a session at six month, but I will never turn away a Classic Minimalist Newborn Baby Photography Greer SC. Older babies have more opinions on which poses are more comfortable and have shorter windows of sleep, but they’re still beautiful and worth taking the time to create memories for you. I loved taking all these little detail photos below while Ava was settling in a deeper sleep. Her little lips are adorable. Ava also preferred being wrapped. It was cozy and comforting for her and I loved her skin tone against this sweet mauve color. She really liked the coziness of this bucket and wooden bread bowl. I also really loved Ava’s images in black and white. Her features and dark hair really stand out so beautifully. I provide both color and black and white of every image that my clients choose for me to edit. Finally, I had Ava’s mama Amanda join her daughter in the images. Most mom’s hesitate to be in images so soon after child birth. Our bodies feel out of sorts and feel unfamiliar. However, I always encourage mamas to jump into a few images because their baby needs to see how much they were loved from the very beginning. Plus our children think our love for them makes us so beautiful.
