2021This Newborn Baby Photography with Puppies Greenville SC is the most unique session I’ve ever done!
One of the best parts about being a Newborn Photographer is getting to collaborate with other business owners. So when my friend Christian who owns Doodles Making a Difference booked a session for her rainbow baby Starlie, I immediately asked if there would a litter of puppies due at the time of Starlie’s birth. The only thing cuter than newborn puppy photos like the ones below from the previous sessions I’d photographed for Christian has to be a newborn baby with newborn puppies!
Starlie enjoyed a full session before we added the puppies to the mix which you can see here. So she was busy taking a brief lunch and snuggle break when I started the puppy portion of her session with the gorgeous golden doodles alone.
Not only are Christian and Starlie’s puppies raised in loving homes avoiding the horrors of puppy mills, but these pint sized doodles really do make a difference. The sale of each puppy feeds a child in India rescued from slavery for a full six months. This partnership with Set Free Alliance aids in the healing of the children both physically and spiritually through the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s a beautiful business model.
My favorite image from this session is this sweet pouty face that Starlie gave.
However, this smile is a close second!

2021I was delighted to be chosen for Oliver’s Timeless Emotional Greenville SC Newborn Photographer. This little guy had a rough start and ended up with a (thankfully) brief NICU stay, but it also meant that many local photographers wouldn’t take Oliver for newborn images as he was just over 14 days. I think that’s silly and I’ll try newborn photos for you at any age. Your session is about capturing your little love’s beauty at any age whether or not they sleep or want to curl up in fancy poses.
Clearly, Oliver did manage to fall asleep after a lot of cuddling, nursing and coaxing, but as you’ll see below his awake images are just as emotional and timeless as these perfectly posed images. He may have been having a growth spurt, but in any case, I always let the newborn lead the session. Oliver (and your baby) are little persons and I want them to feel safe and comfortable at all times.
One of the things I appreciated so much about Oliver’s mom Tiffany and dad Grant is their attitude of gratitude. Like all new parents, they were exhausted. Yet, both of them expressed gratitude for the NICU experience and for the joy of being in the studio for these pictures. Oliver is so loved and that gratitude is a gift his parents will give him. You can see their grateful joy in these photos.
Oliver, may you always know how cherished you are from your tiny toes to your fuzzy hair. Tiffany and Grant, may you, even on the toughest of days, hang onto that practice of simple gratitude knowing that it is the best gift that you can give your boy.

2021This Baseball Theme Cake Smash Simpsonville SC was the perfect end to photographing Abel every 3 months for his entire “rookie year”! I had a blast getting to know this family, but first a quick recap. Here is Whitney’s Maternity session. And here is Abel as a newborn, at three months, at six months, and at nine months. This year flew by for me as photographer, but I’m sure it was even faster for Whitney!
I think the best way to show you how much this sweet boy has grown is to compare images from his newborn session. Here is Abel in Whitney’s arms as a tiny little thing.
And here is Abel in his mama’s arms now. I mean he’s the cutest little chunk of sheer joy!
And, boy, does his family just adore Abel. His spunk and adventurous spirit complete their family.
One of my favorite thing about Whitney is that she treasures ALL of her children’s faces. She doesn’t show up expecting the perfect family photo (though we always strive to get it), but she shows up honoring her children as little people with moods and funny faces that are just as adorable as their smiles. Her file selections always include things that others would wonder why I left in their proof gallery. You can see this in the fun selection of family images above. Abel and big sister Sloan are clearly experiencing all of the emotions.
You can also see how downright funny and expressive Sloan is in the image below. She’s the best
It’s safe to say that Sloan and Abel were made for each other and are already developing into best friends for life.
We finished Abel’s session, like all one year sessions, with a cake clean up bath. He really enjoyed this time as most babies do. I love that it serves the purpose of cleaning up your frosting and sugar high baby before you have to take them home as well as gives the opportunity for more photos! 2021Are you looking for Korean Doljanchi Photography Greenville SC for your baby’s first birthday? Click here to inquire about booking your session. Or keep reading below to learn more about sweet Rhea and her session with Quiet Graces Photography. A Korean Doljanchi is a celebration of reaching the one year milestone. In many villages in Korean, many babies didn’t make it to one year so a whole village would come out to the Doljanchi celebration. Since these photos were taken during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Kim and Tom were unable to travel to do Rhea’s Doljanchi with friends and family. These photos served to bring their family together across the distance.
The highlight of a doljangi is a doljabi. This ceremony involves placing a table filled with objects indicating different career paths on it and encouraging Rhea to select objects. Her selection will fortell her future profession. Among the objects on the table were a microphone for entertainer, aviation headset (Tom is an air traffic controller!), $100 bill, calligraphy pens, and weaving supplies.
Rhea chose a golf ball first and then a gavel. Looks like a sports playing lawyer may be in her future! You can see video clips of her playing with the gavel in the video below.
In addition to her doljangi, we also did a little cake smash! This cake from Christine at Baking Sweet Scents was thoroughly enjoyed. Rhea also thoroughly destroyed the cake while enjoying all the berries. Rhea especially loved the bubble bath and delighted in sending water all over the studio making the cake clean up a simple mop job 😉 A cake and bubble bath are included in all one year sessions with Quiet Graces Photography.
Finally, we also did family pictures during Rhea’s Korean Doljanchi Photography Greenville SC. I loved capturing their family joy so much!

2021Are you looking for Fresh Simple Newborn Pictures Greer, South Carolina? Are you frustrated by loads of fussy sets that take the focus off of a newborn’s natural beauty? I want your session to tell your baby’s story and to highlight on all the little details you adore. Whether your baby isn’t here yet or is 4-6 weeks old, simple timeless images help you remember every delicate feature. Click here to learn more about a photography session with me or read on to hear about baby Trace.Meet Trace. He’s clearly already a heartbreaker. This smile stole mine immediately!
This little guy is a miracle that Celeste didn’t see coming. Celeste brought her sister to the session and I was so glad she did! Her sister convinced Celeste to jump in a picture or two. Postpartum is a pretty vulnerable time for body confidence, so I always shoot angles with that in mind. I think this is hands down my favorite image from this session because it shows Celeste’s quite joy and unexpected delight in baby Trace. In all of my sessions, I try to pose through a flow of images. It’s my way of responding to each baby’s preferences while also accommodating the requested poses. This set shows you the flow of posing that Trace liked most. We started wrapped and as Trace feel more deeply into sleep, I unwrapped him in the warm studio. In between these images, I captured the little details above. I always want your baby cozy and comfortable. Although he was closer to a month old he was still super tiny and curly. This little salad/dough bowl is only about 8 inches across! Are you wanting to book your Fresh Simple Newborn Pictures Greer South Carolina now?
