2009What a glorious season
What a glorious season with a child curled up on my shoulder. So safe, content, and protected in my arms. Her sweet curly eyelashes fluttering closed on her cheek. Little mouth gaping open with a soft whisper of breath.
What a glorious season with another daughter draped across her fathers arms. She coos and, when he looks at her, smiles. His eyes return the smile, laugh lines etching the joy shared. He was made to hold her.
These are the blessings, fleeting between cries of hunger, gas, sleepiness, and frustration, that contentment in Him allows. I was made for this moment and the next ones to come….
